Overview
Kitlune aims to collect as little information as practical. This policy describes the current static website and browser-based tools.
Hosting and technical information
The site is hosted as static files. When you visit a website, the hosting provider may process routine technical information such as IP address, request time and browser details in server logs for security and operation. Kitlune does not currently provide user accounts or a custom application backend.
Browser storage
The theme toggle may save your light or dark mode preference in your browser’s local storage. The cookie notice is informational and does not itself set advertising cookies. Font files are loaded from Google Fonts. The PDF tools load the PDF processing library from jsDelivr when you open those pages. Your browser therefore contacts these providers to retrieve the resources; those providers may process routine request information such as IP address and browser details.
Files and future tools
The Image Compressor and PDF tools process selected files locally in your browser; the Word Counter and calculators also work in the browser. The tools do not send your selected files or entered text to a Kitlune application backend. The PDF tools use a third-party library downloaded from jsDelivr, but the files being processed are not sent to that library provider by the tool code. Do not use any online tool for sensitive material unless you are comfortable with its behavior. Third-party hosting, fonts and resource providers have their own privacy practices.
Advertising
The site currently contains reserved advertisement spaces only; no advertising script is installed. If advertising is enabled in the future, it may use cookies or similar technologies subject to applicable consent and disclosure requirements. This policy will be updated before such services are introduced.
